Aftershock 05:07
Someday soon but I don't know where Gonna find a life in the open air Someday soon but I don't know when Gonna find 'nother ride all over again Oh when I knock there's no one home So sing it once for me An aftershock you can't control Drop days that used to be Get-a-long Guvvie now who's to say Why all our troubles are underway After all is said and done Best to scratch and claw not walk or run The chill of the night and a winter child Still holds me in her arms The aftershock from the deepest wild Has freed me with its charms They say life's too short to stand and wait Ain't no prize to hesitate No matter if I'm so inclined Make running water walk all down my spine Oh when I knock there's no one home So sing it once for me An aftershock you can't control Drop days that used to be

Old time take a melody, and turn it around Like the man in a high rise, can tear up your ground On the wrong side of history and a plan so vile You’re not alone on this dangerous mile They put angels in cages but not in our name Long past finger pointing, we know who's to blame Your tired, your poor, stuck in exile They’re all a symbol of this dangerous mile Hold any hand, that’ll help you exhale Take any fortune to ride Somebody simply to unpack your tale Someone who must testify (solo + repeat) Old time she’s a fickle one, can’t turn back her hand How these lives we've forgotten, just don't understand Please don’t sit back and watch, our children on trial You’re not alone on this dangerous mile

Somewhere in the distant past, we find a boy asleep He will not hear the discontent, he will not find his feet A search for days that disappear, like smoke ring trail parades Hidden in his vestibules, the question never fades Where is the lock, where is the key Where is the moment you come back to me? When is the time, when it will be When is the moment you come back to me? Love when it comes, when it comes, it’ll be alright Love when it comes, when it comes, it’ll be alright And when the darkness finds him, so often he will see The miracles of splendor, and who he wants to be The pleasantness it offers, is forged just like a blade And while he wanders aimlessly, the question never fades Where is the lock, where is the key Where is the moment you come back to me? When is the time, when it will be When is the moment you come back to me? Love when it comes, when it comes, it’ll be alright Love when it comes, when it comes, it’ll be alright Love when it comes, when it comes, it’ll be alright

These days everyone’s trying to be green - Recycle, reduce and reuse Green’s is a lifestyle for those in the know - But my life is ruled by the blues As for me, blue is all that I see - It's my personal muse Watching the world through azure glasses - I'm color blind with the blues The sun glows yellow….The fields are green So many colors to choose When Fall comes around and the leaves turn brown I'm still colorblind with the blues The world’s full of red, There's scarlet and blood - Fuchsia, rose and maroon It all rolls by in the blink of an eye - While I keep on singing this tune Till I'm Red in the Face…. Back in the black- These are just some of my views Leaves me tickled pink, green with envy - I'm colorblind with the blues Black and white, yellow and brown - The red states don’t have a clue With orange man in the white house - The whole damn world’s been abused Puce and Magenta, Mauve and Teal, Tangerine, pink and chartreuse, Take all these colors, You know where to put them My favorite color's the blues There's cornflower, sapphire, cobalt and midnight hues Ultramarine, teal and indigo - I'm colorblind with the blues All the red in the world can’t hide the lies - There’s no way that we can excuse Current events ain’t no day on the beach. Corruption ain’t no pleasure cruise Damn Fool in the Whitehouse got the world seeing red We’re all colorblind with the blues We’re all colorblind with the blues We’re all colorblind with the blues

Woebegone 03:29
When you wake inside, only to be calling What you seek to hide, all the time you’re falling When you wake, Woebegone If you take some time, longer days of summer If you see some sign, Or hear a different drummer Take some time, Woebegone, Take some time, Woebegone Don’t be tame and fine, find another flavor A fresh place to dine, something new to savor Don’t be tame, Woebegone Don’t you stay in line, run free with your owner When you’ve done some crime, to infuriate that stoner Don’t you stay, Woebegone, don’t you stay, Woebegone Ain’t no peace of mind, while that beat is getting stronger Could you be so kind, to hang a little longer Ain’t no peace, Woebegone Soon we'll bid adieu, later on you'll ramble Settle down and chew, a puzzle to unscramble Settle down, Woebegone, settle down Woebegone

Sunrise Sunset Since the beginning it hasn't changed yet People fly high begin to lose sight You can't see very clearly when you're in flight It's high time that you found The same people you misuse on your way up You might meet up On your way down Vintage wines from the year '62 It's your thing, it's your thing It pleases you You got to frown when you cross town You think it's an honor just to have you around It's high time that you found The same dudes you misuse on your way up You might meet up On your way down You think the sun rises and sets for you But the same sun rises, sets and shines On the poor folks too I don't mind you turning round I myself would even like a little higher ground It's high time that you found The same people you walk on on your way up You might meet up On your way down On your way down

All that I believe in, all that makes me, me Vaporized by compromise, of who I want to be Dreams and wishes cast aside, by circumstance and fate If you knew what I’ve been through, perhaps you could relate Can only blame myself, It’s left me feeing burned Trying to find peace of mind, I left no stone unturned Back out on the streets again, burned another bridge Cast aside while in my stride, did what they alleged So much time has come to pass, there’s more wind left to blow Waves will break upon the beach, tide’s will ebb and flow Can only blame myself, it’s none of your concern Trying to find some peace of mind, I left no stone unturned Changing habits, changing ways, cleaning up my act Moving forward without fear, I’m on a brand-new track Leave behind my worries, sacred and profane Toss aside the baggage, start a new campaign Can only blame myself, for feeling unconcerned Trying to find some peace of mind, I left no stone unturned What I’m looking for, isn’t well defined Underneath the stones that I’ve been turning What’s on the other side, like the turning of the tide Is just another lesson I’ll be learning With the turning of a stone, seeds of change are sown, With just a little luck things will improve All that I believe in, All that makes me, me Will come back, when I get back in the groove Turn a new leaf over, get a brand-new start Climb back up on that horse, heal my broken heart Fix the shit I damaged, own up to the pain Rise above, spread the love, break the ball and chain Can only blame myself, this meeting is adjourned Tried to find some peace of mind, I left no stone unturned Can only blame myself, this meeting is adjourned Tried to find some peace of mind, I left no stone unturned

Not so joo'd notice, all's I know, what ain't necessarily so Not so joo'd notice, all's I know, what ain't necessarily so The world moves without you in star, stone and flesh, roll along with the charade It's a shopworn notion in do's re's and mi's, 'nother stray fabric frayed Not so joo'd notice, all's I know, what ain't necessarily so Before you dine with pharaohs, take some tea with me, every dog will have its day A stroll with contentment kowtow to the tide till your plans evaporate Not so joo'd notice, all's I know, what ain't necessarily so A frugal thing this happiness, all you got today And so it seems, to surely fade away (riff) Not so joo'd notice, all's I know, what ain't necessarily so A rock into a slumber until you have learned you're seen from blind point of views The world moves without what this used to mean, an offer you can't refuse Not so joo'd notice, all's I know, what ain't necessarily so
